It’s Time To Thrive In Midlife

Hi, good peeps! We are going to dig deep into a conversation I had a while back with the fabulous Elissa Goodman. Elissa pulled out her golden sh*t shovel and laid out some kick*ss advice for us to start thriving…not just surviving, in the second half of life.

Elissa Goodman is a holistic nutritionist and lifestyle cleanse expert to an A-list roster of celebrities. She was diagnosed with cancer at 32 and lost her husband to his own fight with cancer. After all of this tragedy, she dug deep into finding solutions for helping cure cancer and many other health problems that we face. On her journey, she discovered a wealth of knowledge about health and lifestyle changes that have helped thousands of her clients. She wrote the best-selling book “Cancer Hacks” and has an upcoming book called “Auto-immune Hacks.” Elissa also offers a soup cleanse program to help reset the body, and a digital 7 day reset as well.

We’ll be looking at the tools we need to create a healthier lifestyle on the inside and out to make our bodies the strongest they can be in our midlife remix. We are talking all about cleansing, juicing, supplements, reducing our stress, and different ways we can prevent cancer from becoming a part of our lives. We are looking at the secret sauce to journaling, meditation, and nutrition. It’s not a one size fits all approach, so make sure to take what fits you best!

What the F*%k is Self-Care

The phrase “self-care” is not just a buzzword or a hashtag. For many moms and women in midlife, we use it as the permission we need to just take basic care of ourselves. If that’s you, just FYI drinking water and getting proper sleep is not self-care…that’s meeting your basic human needs in order to function. Women in midlife deserve better than that. It’s time to remix self-care and really define it for ourselves in midlife.
