EVOLVING YOUR INNER MIDLIFE HAMSTER

Show Notes

The midlife hamster wheel keeps spinning! Why can’t I get off? We hate it, but stay on it anyway. WHY WHY WHY? Do you feel like you are just constantly spinning in a circle, doing the same sh*t over and over? Do you keep making promises to yourself to start new habits, drink more water, exercise more, eat more nutritious food, maybe more sex? Lol. The familiar Groundhog Day/hamster lifestyle is so much easier because it’s on routine, requires no thought, risks or new pushes of effort. But, it also tastes like stale bread and moldy cheese.

This week, I use my golden sh*t shovel to dig deep into how to spark change in midlife by working on your inner midlife hamster, in my new minisode, “Evolving Your Inner Midlife Hamster”. I discuss how to jump off of the midlife hamster wheel, stop repeating and start evolving to start midlife remixing! This is not overnight. It is a process of asking yourself specific questions to get in the right mindset and little behavioral tweaks to create habits. In this minisode, I give advice from a couple experts who I follow and my own personal experiences. I explain small steps we can make each day to help us get to where we want to be. If you are looking to make a change in your midlife, then maybe this minisode can be your first step off the hamster wheel. I have some real life examples of simple sh*t you can do. If I can do it, believe me, you can.

This minisode is part of the Fun Midlife Sh*t Quickie Minisode Series. This new minisode series is highlighting resonating & edgy midlife sh*t from my IG, solos, and short pop in guests on stuff we are all thinking about, but maybe too embarrassed to ask…and, of course, more random stream of consciousness rants with loads of sarcasm, relatable humor mixed with expert info. Why would you skip?
